🛕Narvadeshwar Temple

Narvadeshwar Temple was built by a queen, who was popular as “Rani Prasanni Devi”. It was constructed in 1802 with the name- Narvadeshwar. Lord Shiva unique shrine is located in a town called Tira Sujanpur in the Hamirpur district. Narvadeshwar temple embraces of beautifully designed paintings and carvings on the walls that represent scenes from the epics Ramayana and Mahabharata. Inside the temple complex, a number of small temples are also sited, devoted to Goddess Durga, Lord Ganesha, Lakshmi-Narayan etc and can be seen in close proximity to this temple. This is one of the oldest temples which has been carved out using a style called “Bhitti”. The walls of Temple are adorned with magnificent mural paintings which are the characteristic feature of this very sacred place. And the miniature paintings that embellish the interior are sculpted in’ Kangra Style’
